Harbour night festival.
From May to October every year, Hamilton hosts its weekly (every Wednesday) harbour night festival in Front Street. The street gets busy with tourists and locals dancing to the music, trying out international food buying crafts, and even having their faces painted or hairs braided. Shops are also open for late night shopping. Dockyard and St. George also host their own harbour night festival at different days in the week. These are the only few bright spots if you are a tourist visiting for some “action” on a non-weekend. It was my first time to see it this week - if not for the Filipino bbqs! Too bad, I did not bring my trusty camera.
